Compassionate Reprieve Restreaming & Refund Policy

Effective Date: January 26, 2024

1. Overview

1.1 Compassionate Reprieve is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing secure, compassionate streaming of funeral services to incarcerated individuals and their families. Our mission is to ensure every person has a dignified opportunity to say goodbye — even behind bars.

1.2 As a nonprofit organization offering specialized coordination and custom-built streaming technology, we do not offer monetary refunds for services rendered. However, we do offer a restreaming option in the rare event of technical issues or disruptions to help ensure full participation.

2. Restreaming Policy

2.1 If a scheduled virtual funeral stream is disrupted due to technical difficulties, institutional delays, or other unforeseen circumstances, families may request a restreaming of the service.

2.2 Restreaming requests must be submitted within 30 days of the original funeral date. Requests submitted after 30 days will be considered on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.

2.3 To request a restreaming, please contact our team via email or phone. We will work with you and, if applicable, facility staff to coordinate a new viewing time.

2.4 There is no additional charge for restreaming. We are committed to honoring your loved one’s memory and ensuring your family has access to the full experience.
